I had an idea for my yard and wanted to incorporate some steelwork with wood but didn't know where to start and who to contact. Glad to find Trent with CAPS fabrication, he helped me design and come up with some great ideas that was able to bring to life. Now I have a beautiful outdoor living space, and the best fence and gates in my neighborhood by far!​

Trent is originally from Northern California growing up in Sacramento and the Bay area.  In 2012, the Burkett Family moved to the Central Coast to be closer to family living there, to raise their two boys, and to reinvent City Art Plant Studio.  

 

He holds two Master’s degrees in Art and brings much of his design expertise, and knowledge of multi-disciplinary related materials and processes to his current projects as a contractor. 

 

Trent received his General B contractor license in 2016 and began a new facet of the business working in steel fabrication and HVLP paint applications for exterior steel preservation. Working with steel allows Trent to offer fire mitigation services here in California.
